Thirteen wild animals were transported from Türkiye to Jordan to find their final refuge. The animals were at Magic World and were transported earlier from Aleppo to Türkiye, which transported them via trucks to a zoo in the Jordanian city of Jerash. Amir Khalil, regional director of Four Paws in Jordan, says: “Five lions, two tigers, two bears, two dogs, and two hyenas suffered for a long time from malnutrition and health problems.” The animals found their last refuge in the Marwa Wildlife Reserve in the city of Jerash, about 48 km north of Amman. Marwa Reserve is a joint project between the Turkish Ministry of Environment and the International Animal Charitable Society in Jordan. It is noteworthy that these animals survived more than six years of violent clashes that took place in the Magic World park near Aleppo.
