The bug, which has since been confirmed by Facebook, exposes a user’s camera as they scroll through their Facebook feed. . According to Guy Rosen, Facebook's Vice President of Integrity, the bug is an "inadvertent" result of an update made by Facebook on Nov. 8. In fixing that issue last week in v246 — launched on November 8th — we inadvertently introduced a bug that caused the app to partially navigate to the camera screen adjacent to News Feed when users tapped on photos. They must also be running the latest software, iOS 13. . There is reportedly "no evidence” that the bug is causing captured photos or videos to be uploaded to the internet.
