Taiwanese technology company HTC unveiled its latest mobile phones at the IFA exhibition in Berlin. This HTC U12 Life phone is considered the lighter and cheaper version of the HTC U12 Plus. It features 64 GB of internal memory and 4 GB of RAM, a six-inch screen with an 18:9 ratio, a 16-megapixel dual rear camera, and a 5-megapixel front “selfie” camera. The commercial attraction is likely to be the design and price, as the glass back of the phone is designed to be etched and unpolished so that it does not appear dirty even after hours of use, and its price is about $400. It also includes a headphone jack as well as a USB-C port, something missing in many modern high-end phones.
