The American mail carrier FedEx has introduced a modern solution that enables it to deliver postal parcels on the same day without any human cost. The smart vehicle, called the SameDay Bot, is a collaboration between FedEx and a group of companies such as Walgreens, Pizza Hut, AutoZone, and Walmart Mall. The company says that the vehicle is equipped with an advanced wheel system that allows it to cross different types of terrain, such as climbing the edge of the sidewalk or the steps of a small staircase. It is also equipped with a camera that allows it to recognize the location and direction with very high accuracy using artificial intelligence, in addition to its ability to maintain an appropriate temperature for what is placed in its box, whether cold or hot.
