It is customary for a smartphone (mobile phone) to contain two cameras, one installed on the top of the front surface of the device, and another installed on the top of the back surface of it, but through the World Smartphone Conference, which began yesterday, Monday, in the Spanish city of Barcelona, smartphones can now deal with three cameras. Third-i is a third camera that is installed in the place that one wants to constantly look at from a distance. The camera is integrated into a window that can be moved up and down and controlled using an option installed on one of the application buttons on the device. “We spend a quarter of our day here on our mobile devices, so we're practically disconnected from our surroundings, so what we've done is connect you to your surroundings while you're there,” says one of the company's top executives, Itzik Levy. He explained that an application equipped with a camera has been developed, and this camera is permanently placed in the place to be photographed, and through the application it is possible to control the shooting angles as well as its dimensions. Levy pointed out that a light source was installed for filming at night, pointing out that the camera emits an audio signal during the filming process so that others will realize that there is a camera filming, and thus we prevent the use of this device in matters related to intrusion into the lives of others, in order to preserve privacy. It is noteworthy that the World Mobile Conference is considered the largest global conference specialized in smart phone technology. The conference is held every year in Barcelona in late February and lasts for several days. Hundreds of companies concerned with smart phones participate in it, and more than 100,000 people visit the conference to learn about the latest findings in smart phone technology.
